Trust Administration
We administer trusts on behalf of our clients
The role of Trustee carries legal and financial obligations and duties and we are able to deal with the daily administrative work and provide further guidance and assistance, thereby easing the burden for the Trustees. Meeting the accounting and taxation requirements can be an onerous and time-consuming task if undertaken without professional help.
We can ensure that the Trustees are dealing correctly and efficiently with all taxation aspects throughout the trust period, including Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax. We can complete the necessary routine and ad-hoc returns and arrange tax payments, ensuring full compliance with the Revenue's requirements, and deal with any enquiries which may be raised.
We can handle the relationship with investment advisors and other professionals in the management of trust assets, arrange Trustees' meetings, deal with changes of Trustees and distributions to beneficiaries, and trace beneficiaries, if necessary. A large number of the trusts we administer have partners within the firm acting as Trustees.
Our experience of dealing with trusts of all types and size ensures that we offer clients a comprehensive but efficient service, maintaining tax liabilities, where possible, whilst fully complying with the law. |
